Cupid on the move, ohhh lalal

Here is a little sign I made using the Print master 2011 program.. Just to let all of my crafting friends know I love you and have missed you so much.

Due to unforseen circumstances beyond my control, we had to move out of our house, so I had to move and this caused me to be unable to create and post projects as well as the news letter, I`am so sorry for any problems or any inconvenience this may have caused you. I`am sorry I was not able to continue as I had planned. Sometimes life takes us in a different direction than we had forseen, and for this I`am truley sorry for any inconvenience. Please forgive me .

Now for a positive note.. Praise God We have a new house and I hope to be posting and crafting much more. However I will not be doing and continueing the News letter at this time..

It`s Christmas fulll of Whimsy

Here are some Christmas Ideas for your lotions and bath jells, that will add a touch Whimsy to your bathroom and still be function able for your guests..

What girl doesn`t like furs and jewelry and things that smell good.. So give them what they want and they want it all.. LOL

On the large decanter I did that very thing, all things girl loves. I added a  fur warp to the decanter and added a bling out brooch, then I added glitter to the topper for even more punch to my project..

I added a Jewel bracelet to the top of the smaller decanters this gave me more gifting room  to add a extra gift and flare to the smalls decanters

. For the tweens I added I a sweater to the bottles and added the charm bracelett to add whimsy to the sweater.

I had so much fun making these now the real fun begins, giving them.. What a whimsical Christmas gift and fun way to give bath products. give the girls on your list what they want, and they want it all, Fur,jewels and great smells..

Just fill them up with your favorite bath jell and lotions, and decorate them to your liking. you can also just fill them with food coloring and use as a decorations..

Thinking of winter flurries can bring some of the most wonderful ideas.. Those cold days make you want to do something to warm thier hearts, so I sat down and made these snowman tags, Were having a gift exchange and thought that these tags would do the trick.. When it is cold outside a handmade gift often warms the heart so with some good tape and present these little sownmen were ready to go to work tossled a top a git for a friend.. Hugs Debbie

4. Me and my husband own a Mechanic shop, and have for 16years.

Well it`s here the count down till Christmas.. 25 days till Christmas stats today.. I will be making and creating Christmas cards, and layouts, tags and such, to celebrate the count down.. I made little count down notice using one of my scrapbooking programs to start off the count down.. So lets all get our creative hats on our cricut carts out and burn the midnight oil, and begin the count down with some creative projects and gifts for our family and friends.. I have decide to just give my Digi Stamps for free on my blog. This holiday weekend I was able to vist a few blogs and you ladies amaze me at your talents, so creative but you have also touched my heart.

I noticed the free digis that I have givien away used in your projects and everytime I see one of you ladies use the little digi`s, it touches my heart to see them used in your creations, It made me smile so big.

Thanks to all of you ladies for making my day, and giving me the gift of a smile. I love that you are using the Digi Stamps.. This was one of the goals when making the digi stamps that others would enjoy them and use them..

.. So Now allow me to give you a gift, the digi stamps are for free. So I have posted my winter line of Digi Stamps both color and black-n-white on my blog with no water marks, for all of you ladies to enjoy.

All you need to do is click on digi`s and enlarge them and save them to your computer .It is my hope that you will enjoy them as much as I have.. Feel free to use all that you like and as many as would like..

Adding 3-d effect to your digital layout

I made this digital layout using my own created digi stamps, then I printed out two more of my snowmen from my winter line of digis and cut the snowmen sightly smaller then the ones on the layout page. I layered them on top of the snowmen on the digital layout. This added depth and causes the snowmen to rise off the page and creating a 3-d effect on the snowmen and the layout..Tossed in some bling and those snowmen are smiling and happy to house my fav Christmas photos

I made these digital layout and added some of my own created digi stamps, this give this layout a personal touch. I used my snowman and my pointsettas for this digital layout. If you would like to add your digi stamps to a digital layout simply create your layout and then place your digi stamp where your creative eye sees to place the digi stamp.. I think adding something that belongs to you to your digital work adds that personal touch to any layout, weather it is digital or cricut made.

Fun and Festive

I made these fun and festive Christmas layouts and added tags to keep track of the when,where, and who of the photos. It is not necessary for you to have your photos loaded on your computer when you make a layout, you can simply print the layout and cut out the white parts and add your photo to the the cut-out and place in your fav Christmas scrapbook., or make the layout and save the layout to your computer and add photos as they are taken.. I love using digital scrapbooking because it allows me a flat page to place in my scrapbook and the ability to use the protective covers for my photos.It also allows me to make my pages ahead of time and all I need to do is add my pics once taken.. You can add your cricut cuts to these layouts but it will make it harder to use the covers to your pages, So you may want to seal them another way.

Ginger bread man, all dressed up and reay show

Here is a gingerbread man recipe cards that I made using my 3-d Digi Stamps from my winter line of Digi stamps..

I love the way the 3-d effects makes the ginger bread man pop on the project. His hat seems to come to life and makes you want to tassel the bows.. Makes it look like a cricut cut, all layered up and dress for show.

The pointsetta are also from my winter line of Digi stamps.. Bling and inked and ready to showcase the edges of the recipe card, add a tiny bow and your ready to cook up something fun.

Here is what the gingerbread man looks like but wait till you see what you can do with this gingerbread man with the 3- d effects, you will be able to layer his hat and bows

Barbara – Hi, My name is Barbara. I am a Mother to 6 wonderful children ranging in age from 12 to 20, and wife to an awesome enabler! Four years ago, my husband was nominated for a prestigious award in the hospitality industry and I wanted to make sure I captured every moment of it, so I started scrapbooking. A couple of weeks into my new hobby, my husband became the wonderful enabler that he still is today, by surprising me with my first Cricut Expression. (Now I am trying to talk him into a Yudu for my Birthday/Christmas present). I have since ventured from scrapbooking to card making and altering items. I find that creating these projects are more fun and allow me to get lost in another world if I need to. Card With Attitude!

Oh how I love me some grunge! The new Cricut Imagine has so many options to expand your crafting options. This card is made form Cricut Imagine JT cartridge. This cartridge is a great addition to any Cricut cartridge library. This card is a basic A2. All the cuts have been printed and cut at approximately 3 inches. All my cuts were inked with Wild Honey and Stormy Sky.

I began embellishing the base of the card by stamping and wet embossing with the Stampers' Anonymous Tim Holtz Bitty Grunge stamps.

I used Shabby Shutters and Mustard Seed embossing powder. I used pop dots to give depth to the cuts. For a bit of rock n roll I used the I-rock to adhere these trendy metal stars.

Ink - Distressed Firebrick red & black

Directions:

Cut the 3D tree from Happy Hauntings at 10" out of chipboard. Trace each cut onto a piece of foam core board and then cut using a craft razor knife. You will also need to trace the splits for inserting each section of the tree into each other for standing.
Paint the tree one side at a time with dark brown acrylic paint including all inside edges so that there is no white color left showing and then shade using black and a lighter brown. Once the paint is dry, coat with clear rock candy distress crackle paint.
Cut four tombstones from Happy Hauntings at 3" (flip one set of the cuts to create the backside of the stones). Trace onto a piece of foam core board, cut and then glue between the front and back stones to add depth. Paint the white edges with either a gray or black paint. Set aside.
Create the headstones for the vaults by cutting larger tombstones from Happy Hauntings at 4". (flip one set of cuts to create the backside of the headstones) Use foam tape (aka pop dots) placed between the front and back headstones (foamcore was too difficult to cut around the cross).
The foot stone for the vaults were created by using the bottom portion of the tombstone only. For the center of the vault cut a piece of cardstock 3" x 2 1/2", score at 1" and 2" turn a quarter turn and then score at 1/4" along both ends. Fold along the score lines then emboss the cuts using either the Cuttlebug tiny mosaic folder or Sizzix faded brick texture.
Ink over the embossing with brick red distressed ink. Fold the score lines and form into a shape to fit the head and foot stones to create the vault.
Cut skeletons at 4". For the backside flip the cuts and hide all facial contours in Design Studio. To make them moveable adhere the front and back pieces together with a piece of off white quilt thread between the bones.
For the base of the graveyard cut a piece of foam core board 12" x 12" and a piece of the landscape mat 13" x 13". Using a glue gun adhere the mat to the foam core board.
Using hot glue adhere the tree to the center of the square. To create the graves, cut four pieces of the moss landscape into a square, fold it in thirds gluing all edges and then hot glue into place. Glue vauIts into place. Place skeletons as desired, gluing the necessary sections to keep them in place. Using fiber fill or spider webbing create the webs from the tree to the vaults. I also hid battery operated black tea light candles behind my vaults to add more fun to the centerpiece.

Pumpkin Wall Hanging

Directions:

Cut three 12 inch Blocks From a background fabric (I chose Brown).
Cut three 10 inch blocks in the color you want your pumpkins to be. (You can use this idea for any season of the year) If you don't like jack-O-Lanterns you can use leaves or solid pumpkin.
Cut 2 and 1/2 inch strips form a Fat Quarter (you can sew them together to make you borders long enough) cut strips to use between the blocks.
Cut the background fabric into 2 and 1/2 in strips to make your binding and use a coordinating fabric for the back I used the orange fabric for the back.
You will need a template design cut out of paper (I used a design from my Cricut) you will need enough heat and bond light to make three of your designs please see YouTube video on how to apply the heat and bond to make your designs.
Make sure you make a label so you remember when you made it.

Pumpkins and Crows

Pumpkin and crows layout Page.. For all those pictures of your loved ones picking all those pumpkins. I used 2 sheets of the same paper.. I took one sheet and cut around the pumpkins and layered the on the other sheet, thus building on already layout sheet of paper. This adds depth and height to your layout.. I then stamped my tags, the little crows seem too add to the Halloween theme. I cut out flowers and added shading to the sides of the flowers. I made frames out of glitter paper to add sparkle to the frames and gave a few of the pumpkins a touch of glitter with a glitter pen..

Here is whimsical way to top off those pumpkin pots, and add a little life to smile on those pumpkins. What a great way to give a pumpkin to a friend, makes a great gift or just a pleasing pumpkin to your house. I just took a pumpkin planter and dressed the top.

The bird is from Hobby Lobby and then added some berry vines that look like a birds nest, circled it around the top and tucked in my birdie.
The flower top is just a large pick place in the pumpkin pot. Too easy yet to fun and enjoyable to give or receive.

Side card and reveal. I saw this done and I thought I would try one of these cards. Using the their base Idea, I added a few things different, to make it my own design. When seeing a card done try adding a few different element's and make your ideas come out in your a card, you will be amazed a what a difference you can make by adding afew different touches, and element's. So here is what I came up with.. I also decide that I would do a tutorial to show you how I made this card. Slide card and Reveal directions

Slide card and reveal Directions .. First you need to decide what size of card you would like.. Then you need to cut a slice from one side to almost the other end. Now cut a long tab that will go from end of the card to the next. Now cut two small strips that will hold the object on the tab.. fold and glue ends of the strips down to the tab, leaving room for the top of the strips to be fold down to hold object that will slide. Now insert yout slide tab to the card. Next glue your objects to the strips that are folded down ( objects you that you wish to be on the slide.) This will allow your object to slide on the card. Now add your little note or message to your card.( make sure that the slide object will cover your note or message ) Now add a pulley to the end of your tab. Once complete you will be able to use the tab end to slide the object and over your message. Now for the back of your card, you will need the same size paper of your card, but glue just the edges only the the top and bottom and the end of your card back, leaving the pull side open as not to hinder the pulling effect.

Hang it up.. A whimsical way to bring in some Fall decor to any room, that is handmade, personalized with your choice of paper to match your decor. Our your lovely friends decor, and just a whimsical way to say happy Fall to your friend's and relatives. Directions . Just cut out the shapes to make each side of the star, ( Note I layered four sheets of card stock and cut them all together to make sure they were the same size.) Once you have made your cut , fold down the in the middle down to the point so that it will have a crease in it, which will make thew star stand out. leave room in the middle to add a flower or your favorite design to the star. Now add ribbon to hang the star with.

Is this the great pumpkin? This done with stamps and few added embellishment's.. I first stamped the stamp on the paper and then cut the stamps objects into sections to place the stamps as if they were inspecting the pumpkin.. Added a pumpkin and a bow and leaves as well as there masks..

Add some whimsy to your stamp projects. I used a stamp to create the basket and birds, Then I cut out some birds to place on the stamp covering the stamped birds. Leaving the basket to just showing the stamped object. I then made leaves to add to the bottom and a flower to the side. Made a stamp tag and added a circle with Thinking of you. Adding a few cuts outs to any stamped item and can change a stamp into a whimsical project.

Slip band card, and could be used with a spinner action. This card has a slip band that goes around the card to hold it closed. Built onto the band is a whimsical flower to add texture and a bit of the whimsy to the front of your card. Directions for this card.. First take your card stock and fold to the the middle and over lap the side just a bit, then fold the sides back to make flaps on each side. Now Tuck in the ends of the cards flaps back under, at the bottom edges to make the shape of a triangle. Now cut a band to wrap around the card. Make a flower and place it on the band. (NOTE If the object (Flower) is going to be attached to a spinner there should be no other objects in the way of the spinning action. NOTE Your flower will have to have holes in the middle of the flower so that you can insert the rivet to the flower, thus allowing the flower now to spin.

Folding layers into a card. This card decorates itself as you fold the card, it build diamonds on the front of the card. The diamonds will also close the card. Once opened it will display your message. Directions for making this card are under Labels, marked tutorials. Also they were posted directly under the original post of this project.

Folding layers in your card.. Directions to make this card. First you will need a 12x12 sheet of card stock double sided paper is the best for use. . Now fold it in half to make a triangle shape.. No take the ends of the triangle on each side and fold them in to the inside of the card. Now fold the top down, your card will look like a envelope at this point. Next open you card up and take the ends of the triangle, not the top the ends. Fold end,( just the ends, not the whole side) back about 3 to 4 inches depending how large you want the diamond on the front. Next that that and push it down so that it will make a diamond. Do that to both sides. Next close your ends into the inside of your card so that your diamonds show on the front. You will need make 2 cuts at the top of your card. Notice at the top of my card there is a a vee shape cut to each side of the top. Make those cuts that will help the top fold down and fit in to your diamond. Next fold you top down and tuck the top into a diamond that will hold the top closed. Now have fun and decorate the card as you wish.

Pop-up Card

Things popping up.. This is a pop up card. Directions for a pop up card.. First you will need 2 sheets of card stock, the same size that you wish your card to be, and fold them in half to make your card. Next take one card and make a cut in it, then move over just a bit from your first cut and make another cut. Next open the card and pull the place that you cut to the inside of the card, which will make a bench in your card when you open it, which is your pop up. Now to cover the cuts you made for the pop up, you just use the other sheet of card stock and glue it the outside of the card you just made. Now decorate your pop up in anyway you would like. You can use ink to the edges for depth and tea to make the card look worn.

Stacking those pumpkins

Stacking those pumpkins.. Direction on how to make this card. You first take a 12x12 sheet of card stock and then you fold in a tri fold. Once you have a tri fold you may cut the card to any size you wish, but leave room because you will cutting of some of the top of the card off. Folding to to one side and flip the card over and fold it back to that side making a accordian fold in the card stock. Now cut a shape at the top of your card stock going down the side so that the top will taller than the bottom. This will allow you stack your pumpkins and the back pumpkins will be able to be seen. Once you fold it together you will be more able to see what I have just explained. With your card now folded starting at the bottom place your pumpkins on the card, stacking them up on the side of the card till you get to the top of your first fold. Then open your card and place a pumpkin on the top, this will allow the stacking to continue up the page.. There is ability for this card to have two insides to put your sentiments, but I choose to leave back folded I added a pumpkin to the back for a bigger stacking effect. Have fun and enjoy making your card.

Back flip. Directions for this card... First you need a 6 1/2 x12 sheet of card stock.. Fold the card stock down almost halfway, Now flip the card. Go to the bottom of the card, fold it up to almost touching the first fold, but leave a little room in between. Once you have done that fold the first or larger flap backwards on the same fold line you made. Cut another piece of paper to make for the front, Leaving the card folded backwards , flip the card over. Now you have a back flap. Glue the front peice to the front of the card. You may want to decorate it now . Now you should have a back flap and a front cover to your card. (note make sure when decorating your card you leave the fold line open so that the card can bend in the fold) The smaller fold will need to decorated as well. The back kicks out to make the card stand up. The smaller fold comes forward to complete the stand. The card will lay flat so that it Will fit in and envelope to be mailed to you friends or family

Diamond card

Diamond card, display a little whimsy. Better Directions for making this card. For those of you that that have sent me a PM on the MB I will try very hard to show you, I`am gald that asked and am happy to help in anyway I can.. I will be using another sheet of card stock to show how to make the diamond card, as not to have to distroy the oraiginal card. I hope I can show you how to make it, I will try very hard. You will need 2 sheets of card stock. Any size you wish to use.. I used 12x12 sheets.. I choose patterned card stock. Make a accordion fold with your card stock, folding the paper quarter of the page at a time, first fold to one side and then flip the paper over and making another fold, till you have 3 folds thus making a accordion, Leaving the card folded, cut out in the middle of the card a vee shape. when you open the card you should see two diamonds on each card stock. Separate the cards you just folded into two cards. Taking one card at a time and push the card together, making a point in the middle pushing the two end together and making the middle stand up. Now glue the card, then do the same to the second card. Now place 2 sheets of craad stock together, glueing the ends, leaving the middle standing up. Now you have a diamond card. Now add something to hang in the middle, for that whimsical effect.( I choose a butterfly,) continue to decorate to your liking. This card folds down to fit into a envelope but, when they pull the card out it will stand on it`s own, to add to your favorite shelf or desktop

Picture your pumpkin MINI ALBUM Here is a place to store all those pictures of your loved ones choosing that perfect pumpkin. Never lose a moment keep them stored in this mini album and keep it or give it as a gift. Make as many pages to your album as you need. Start with a chipboard album, cut your pages to fit your chip board album. Decorate to your liking.. Now that you have all your pages done you need to bind them together with something. I used ribbon but you can use the rings, simply punch a hole where you would like to bind them together. ( note you can decorate the front and back pages of your book or decorate the front and paint the back pages it`s your choice).. I always decorate the front and back but for space I just showed a few pages. Once you have done this your book should be complete. Your book should like the the picture at the top with the crow and pumpkin on it.

Making more space... Make that page work for you, create pockets to hold tags to where photos can be palced on them, also tags for notes. Next add frames of different sizes for different size photos. this will help create more room to place photos if they are different sizes, and not all one size. I placed a mini flip album made out of tags at the top to give even more room. You can add as many pages to your album as you would like. Now dress your Page to suit your layout design.

Birth Announcement. A cute way to announce that you have a new bundle of joy.. You will need to cut two dogs out. Now glue them back to back, use one of dogs in color you want the dog to be for the front, and a white dog so that you can write any details that you might want to share. Once glued together you can now add your tag for the birth announcement, and place on the dog just under the mouth as if the dog is holding the tag.. Embellish the dog to your liking.. Place the dog in an envelope and you are ready to announce your bundle of joy.

Layered bird... Now give that homemade card a lift and here`s how.. I cut the bird and the butterfly using the Home decor cart and I cut two of the birds to layer the tail and the wing.. Cutting the wing and tail out of one of the birds.. layered them on the second birds tail and wing and then I lifted them up causing the stand up a bit to show the layers of the bird. I centered the the layered wind in the middle of the bird belly.. This gives the bird some whimsy and will show your layers.. Then embellish the card, add a tag to the front of what you want to say.

Here is how you make this card stock journal.. First you have to decide what size journal you want .Then cut your card stock to that size.. Make use you use very thick card stock. You can also use chipboard for the covers. Next cut your journal papers to fit and size to your journal. You can add as many pages as you would like, asbig or as small. I used just three journal pages to show you how to make the journal. Place journal papers on the back cover and lay the front on top and then glue them together. Starting with the back cover and laying on the pages till you arrive at the front cover. allowing the pages to dry.. I used a inking to make the both the pages and cover to look warn and aged. I also made a journal latch to keep all the page together.. There you go you have a journal.. Now decorate the front as you desire.. I choose to ink my front cover as well for the aged look, add a few embellishment's and flowers I made to add a whimsy feel to the front.

Need a gift wrapping. Some objects are just hard to wrap , like scissors for a crafting friend. So here is way to wrap that gift up. Take a large Manila envelope cover it your favorite paper, leave the opening to envelope open so that you can place you gift inside. Now add some paper to the front, I cut the paper just a Small amount form the sides and then I inked the edges to add some depth.. making the paper smaller than the envelope will ensure that the paper does not peel back from the edges of the envelope. Cover with your favorite paper and then add your embellishment's.. Then when you are done slide your gift inside and the envelope will seal..

Here is how to make one. start with a chipboard of your choosing. Grab ring to bind it together. Here are some supplies you will need plus glue and embellishment's to dress the front. next you will need glue and a hole punch,
. Then cut the paper to fit the chip board. add ink to the side to smooth the sides of both the paper and chipboard... Glue paper to front and back of chipboard. Punch hole in the top so that you can place the ring through the chipboard to bind the them together. Next add a button with stretchy string, to hold the cd in place and a flourish to support the bottom of the cd... Then add embellishment's and the cd`s. Now flip the cd holder over and add embellish the front to your liking.. I added a chain for easy carrying.

Here is a spring card. I made. The bird was made using Home Decor cart and I added some bling to it`s tail and a bow.
